kiwiraka
You'll just have to wait, depending on the type of wood you'll be waiting for anywhere between a few days to a couple of months.

kiwiraka
Yes, but probably not much. It may also ruin the look...

SanityChelle
You could try tying fishing weights on them with nylon, then hide the weights under the substrate. To get my driftwood to sink though, I just put rocks on it for a couple of months.
Benjansss
Any other ideas i dont have any. Rocks that arent so heavy they sould propoley break the wood (and the tank ) including whats in my graden
Caryl
If the weight of the rock can break the wood I would question whether it was suitable for the aquarium as it sounds rotten, unless it is fine roots. A rock will only break the tank if you drop it on the glass, or it falls over against the side.

Baroness
I have some rocks that might be suitable for you to use. Would you like me to post them to you? :rotf:
Adrienne
I used the back of our axe to smash my rocks up to hold the driftwood down - see pic. Theres also a rock on top. You can also float them in the bath if you don't want them in the tank or if you aren't interested in any of the other suggestion.
