Adrienne
I'm thinking its a crypt in front of the RTL.
camtang
Yeah thats the plant, but is not a crypt. It is part of the aponogetons family I think. I just don't know any more than that. P.S I worked out how to add photos from my phone.
Godly3vil
Looks to be an Aponogeton Undulatus.
alanmin4304
I would think it is aponogeton undulatus as it is propagating vegetatively but it lacks the characteristic twirl in the leaf stalk that it has sometimes.
camtang
It had twirly stems when I first got it. undalatus was what I have been told before, but I bought another undalatus and it looks nothing like it.
camtang
This is what I bought as undalata

camtang
Sweeet thats enough for me to take that as an ID. Thanks
alanmin4304
I couldn't think of the words to describe the leaf characteristic but "twirly stem" sums it up perfectly. 100% A. undulatus. Some people think the aquarium strain is a hybrid with natans because of the reproduction vegetatively but I think A. undulates will do.
