camtang Posted September 4, 2014 Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 So I did something dumb today which made me wonder what other people have done that was kind of stupid relating to fish. I was testing out a new canister, I could not get it going so put it in the to hard basket.I was pulling it apart and took it outside to get the water out. I went to blow the water out if the pipes and instead of dropping one I held them both and blew a pipe full of water directly onto my face. :facepalm: which made me wonder what other dumb stuff people have done. David R Posted September 5, 2014 Report Share Posted September 5, 2014 Alarm went off at 0600 for work this morning, raced down stairs to dose the quarantine tank with Stability in anticipation of new fish this weekend, just as I was about to dose the Stability I thought... "I'd better test the ammonia quickly while I'm here"... put cap back on Stability... grab vial and take sample for ammonia test... grab bottle of Stability and shake vigorously before dosing....... realise I had just sat the cap on the bottle and not screwed it shut as I shake half a bottle of stability all over myself and the surrounding part of the garage!! :an!gry should leave such things until AFTER I've woken up completely...
