Sheepsnana
Been into a pet store today. 11L tank, hexagonal, and it spins. Like a blender. Tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this is cruel.

David R
the pic has goldfish Could certainly be considered inhumane for goldfish because of the size. No idea about the spinning part tho...
critter_crazy
What the? Can you find a picture of it online? Never seen anything like that before and I'm a pet store geek. Definatley cruel unless it were to spin incredibly slowly :-?
GrahamC
You'd probably find that if it's a spinning bowl .. the water remains stationary inside the spinning bowl.
SamH
Is it something like this? What a stupid idea
Sheepsnana
Yup, thats the blender!
livingart
with that shape tank the water won't be still
Ira
Even if it was a cylinder the water would still rotate with it. Eventually the friction with the glass would drag the water around. But I seriously doubt it spins fast enough for it to be an issue.

Sheepsnana
I asked "Is that the jug that I'm meant to use to fill my tank?" She didn't say anything, but she gave me a look. Kind of like "It's stupid, I know, but mention it again and I will ask you to leave".
