Jaide
Everyone's a comedian  OK, so no special treatment is needed to clean if collected from the beach - thanks all.

Cricketman
That, and I have previously soaked driftwood in a bucket for a couple days with daily W/C using hot water pouring over it. Helps remove some of the sand/salt and starts it sinking-if it was floaty before. The hot water not neccesary, but I have watched tiny bubbles stream out of a peice of wood using this method... There is nothing wrong with a blast with the hose a quick scrub over and "chuck it in, bro!"
Carlos & Siran
How Ira decides whether to mock a post. Step 1: Read post. Step 2: Is it a stupid question? IF (Can think of possibly amusing response=1) THEN Make humorous post ELSE IF (Have something valuable to add=1) THEN Make helpful post ELSE Ignore END IF
