My 6" royal would make a remarkable amount of sawdust, enough to cover the bottom of my pre-filter settling chamber (about 70x38cm footprint) with a 1cm thick layer, and thats not counting all the stuff that didn't make it over the overflow!! Great fish, but soooo messy... this is gonna put my new socks to the test! i am in the process of trialling and replacing my current filter socks configuration old set up: 100 micron with 40 cm length of sock replacing with : 50 micron but 75 cmsd sock length i figured, can i get the same life or more and better clarity? royal should help test it:D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
