Ticked!!!

Our neighbour came over last night to say she had found my jigsaw in her front lawn. I thought it was strange but didn't click till 20 minutes later.

Finally it dawned on me so I ran to the shed and every thing has gone...

Thousands and thousand of dollars of power tools, kids Christmas presents, new 18' swimming pool not yet unpacked, new top of the line table say not yet unpacked, compressors, nail guns etc etc.

We are totally gutted. We have had two lean years that our kids have had to watch other kids get nice presents so we have been saving really hard and going without a lot of stuff to get some nice things for the kids and each other and some filthy scum thought it would be easier to sit on their fat rrrrr's, smoke dope while collecting dole and take our stuff instead.

Then the police said that the local Mr Plod wasn't on call at the moment so they might be able to get someone here next week if we are lucky.

Clearly we aren't "lucky"

That really sux.. :an!gry we used to get done too in our old place, but now with the new place we put 24hr security camera, it really help to see who passing by your street during the day or night, plus it cheap thses day to invest in a CCTV system + the best thing about it, is you can access through the internet to keep an eye on your property while you are at work.

but the best weapon is to locked down your shed, doors, garage..etc properly

Anyway we are living in a world of bad and good, so keep up those smile for the good health :happy1: and may good luck rise..Merry Xmas Bibo.. :happy2:

Man that sucks!

Have you spoken to your insurance agent?

I like to think there is a special kind of hell for scum like that.
If you take advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater. — Shepherd Book
I'm pretty sure we can throw the thieves in there too.

I don't understand it. I get that if you're short on change, or food, drastic measures may be required. But I put those drastic measures down as GET A JOB. Stealing is just plain wrong. ESPECIALLY presents for the kids.

If there's anything we can do to help out, please just ask.

I'm so sorry. :an!gry

Yes it is just so wrong to steal Christmas presents esp those for kids.

It's not like there are not places like the Salvation Army and Churches that do Christmas collections and Angel trees etc so kids from needy families can get presents. It's just low to steal them from other kids. We had an angel tree at our Church this year (and last year) for kids and I got presents for two angels. There are good people out there that want to help but when you just take, instead of asking.... I just don't understand that.

that sucks mate. it seems to be getting more common these days. in the last couple of months 3 of the guys i work with, one of our building sites and myself have been ripped off. lazy ingrate punks who feel they are entitled to steal off hardworking people because they can't be bothered working to provide the luxuries (and quite often drugs and alcohol) that they crave. it's got nothing to do with need, there is a social welfare system in this country that provides the necessities. to hear that your children will be deprived of the magical christmas that you have worked so hard to provide for them makes your story that much sadder and more infuriating. hopefully you can still have something of a christmas.

Thanks guys.

We have in-sewer-ants so we should get some most of the items or cash value back but that wont be until the new year probably.

Since I posted this I have heard from a number of people and some of my friends who are having a harder time than we are.

I have calmed down a bit and realised that at least no one was hurt and its just stuff and things that went missing but we still really do appreciate your kind words.

It seems unfair of me to be grumpy about this when so many people are hurting terribly at this time of year because they have lost things that insurance cant replace.

Still want to catch the little punks though.

It is TOTALLY ok to be completely pissed off when some lowlife breaks into your property and steals your stuff. There is always someone better off and worse off than you...

I am sorry you lost all your things, not a nice feeling. I hope the insurance company has some christmas spirit and speeds your claim through before xmas. But definitely, go give all your family a hug and be thankful for the really important things and that they left your family alone.

Watch out too for any repeat snooping (hoping to cash in on your insurance return). I would borrow a very large dog for a while... that three headed one from Harry Potter would be useful
