Squirt
I guess your not wanting high sound quality (like for listening to music) ones then. What sort of price range are you look at spending?
phoenix44
Harvey Norman has some on special for $17 down from like $70 or something like that. If you want quality; nothing beats a Bose.

SamH
Can't go past Sennheiser, had my HD 202 for almost a year now and the sound response and noise cancellation is excellent. Only $55 too but they were on special.

amtiskaw
There's a good review site here The Monster Dr Dre Beats only got 6.5/10 and the Bose models were much worse. Can't go past Grado or Sennheiser in my opinion. I use Sennheiser and like them a lot.
SamH
See if you can have a jam on the demo, I listen to a fair bit of electronic so bass was a biggy for me. Not as much response as a subwoofer of course but gets far lower than ear buds.
Li@m
If you want quality; nothing beats a Bose. Yep, the best ive used.
herperjosh
I cant find a demo for bose. I will try the senhiser demo. Im leaning towards senhiser
the-obstacle
Sennheiser or Grado if you've got the cash. Bose are ok but you're paying for the name these days. I'm on my 2nd pair of sennheisers (first were stolen) and they've been going strong for 6 years. I'd love to upgrade to Grado but can't afford it. then again, i do spend a lot of cash on fish stuff...
ally07
I would say Sennheiser as well. Bose is good for speakers, but that does not necessarily mean that their headphones are good by extension. Sometimes companies can produce one product really well, yet produce others terribly. Don't buy headphones made by computer companies like Logitech, I've had terrible experiences with them haha. Panasonic is quite alright - not the highest quality, but decent for the price you're paying.
herperjosh
Thanks for all the help! I have decided to go with the senhisers i saw at dick smith really nice sound quality!
acara
Good choice,I only use Sennheiser, great quality at a good price.
reef13
don't go fot the cheap sennheiser inear headphones, they really are crap put my mate on to a pair and he has had them replaced six times and they always kept blowing. I live in headphones and have owned pretty much every pair of every price range and have had to replace very very expensive ones too. you can't go wrong with a good pair of sennheisers though, they are amazing and built to last and the sound quality is a step above, but very expensive. but just like everything, you really do get what you pay for
