David R
I really like the minimalist look of the tank, good work! Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought the mandarin fish needed large amounts of well established live rock to graze on. How do you get on keeping it in that tank? Mcculloch
I also thought they needed a steady supply of live food? Most do, If you get a good one like the one buzzy's got that eats fakes and frozen then not so much.
buzzy
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought the mandarin fish needed large amounts of well established live rock to graze on. How do you get on keeping it in that tank? not a silly question at all, he picks at the rock work and sand all day but also feeds on flake when i feed the tank. the tank he came from he was in for 3 years and eating flake so thats why i took him as the hard part was already done

amtiskaw
Wow, I really like the sense of space your tank gives - the minimalist look is fantastic Must. Resist. Urge. To buy. Marine. Setup.
David R
 -10 points for looking at the pictures and not reading... Good to see its not impossible to get them onto other foods, or is this one just a one-in-a-million fluke?
buzzy
its hit or miss if they eat frozen or flake but most of them do eventually eat them its just having enough live food in the tank until they do that can be the problem

Mcculloch
I've seen another one that ate pellets and frozens no problem but most don't for a long time.
