GZ_Loach
Do you know how many liters? 2.4m might be long, but if they aren't very high/deep they end up being a pretty normal size tank. I had a 2.4m tank that was only 450L
reptilez
no ...i dont know the size but it looks about 50cm high and deep...thats a rough guess as it is on a tall stand
Sophia
cold water riffle tanks!
livingart
depending on their volume i find it better to run large tanks on a sump cost about 1 to 200 to DIY a stand for each one
Stella
cold water riffle tanks! Definitely good for native fish, nice big ground area!
ally07
Jealous!! But congrats on your windfall! If you've got a nice deep tank then go for an aro.. Minimum depth would be 60cm.. One other tank can be used to breed feeders lol!
Adrienne
Hi re the question with the link to the filter. IMO this is definitely not big enough. I am running one of those on my 120 litre tank and it does the job nicely but I wouldn't put it on a bigger tank. Definitely a sump.
Ira
1) What filters would you reccommend? i was thinking 2 of these- http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pets-animals/F ... 992687.htm Guessing at the volume of the tank, I'm just going to assume they're twice the volume of my 1.2 wide tank, so about 850 liters. I calculate you'd probably want roughly 5 of those filters.
