fordayzbro
Back at home for a couple days so have been fiddling with the quarantine tank...... I'll attach some moss and a few small crypts. Nothing to fancy. Probably use a HOB filter and just do regular water changes to keep away algae. Still some work to do on the layout but can't wait to have minnows again.... Bishop
Love that set up, I am doing something similar but hard to find the right wood. What is the size of your tank, I have a feeling it looks bigger than it is.
Stephanie
30l tank i'm guessing by writing on back?

phoenix44
Minnows not mossie rasboras?
fordayzbro
Minnows not mossie rasboras? Minnows were my first fish... super easy to keep so will suit low tech. TBH it won't be a long term tank.... just wanted to give it go
SamH
I just got some WCMM, you can use 'em if you can catch 'em Looking good though!

Do you want the handfulls of glosso I trimmed off today?
SamH
Thanks but I have no where to put any glosso, my "planted" tank is full of Betta bottles :nilly:
BikBok
that looks good... but what are you going to do for a QT ?
fordayzbro
that looks good... but what are you going to do for a QT ? Thanks! This will only be a temp set-up. If I need a QT urgently, I'd use this and put the Minnows in something else. The only time I've ever used this tank was when I rescaped the 60cm
mincedgreen
That really is quite haunting, I really like it
Fishkeepa
I like the look! Well done! 8) Just a bit of random information I stumbled across whilst browsing the AGA competition photos. I found out that WCMM live in heavily planted areas on the White Cloud Mountain, I had always assumed they lived in something that looked exactly like what you have done in your tank! Be sure to show us some pictures when you have the minnows in!
the-obstacle
That looks awesome and is exactly what I was planning to do at the end of my big tank but with a more jagged set of rocks. Same wood idea though. I'm glad I got to see it done by you first
fordayzbro
Cancelled... Won't be filling this tank

fordayzbro
Oh gutted! One tank to take all investment.... will be ordering the opti-clear, inline heater and inline diffuser on my return home. Might give the dry start a go...
