Can any of you tell me approx what it would cost to get a taxi from the airport to the Quality Hotel Barrycourt in Parnell? It is apparently 19.3km. It will be a Friday night.

Or is there a shuttle bus, or any bus, going between the 2 places? They do not appear to have a shuttle service.

Shuttles should be under $40.

Used to go from AKL Intl to home in Birkenhead on the shore for about $35 - 40 depending.

More than $40 for a shuttle, its about $45 to our place alone. I make a good shuttle service and you are welcome to use me as long as its not the weekend I am in ChCh for the meeting. Parnell is very near us. Taxis I would guess in the region of $60.

It is my daughter who will be coming up for a job interview Friday Nov 19th (leaves Blenheim at 4.15pm, not sure what time it arrives just at the moment) and back home Sunday 21st leaving 11am. The interview will take all day Saturday at the Barrycourt, which is why we have booked her in there.

Woops! Forgot to answer the question! There are shuttles that are a set price (from memory $45 a head) and you can even book one which is what we did last time we came back from Aussie - worked really well - stepped off the plane and into the shuttle straight home. Can't remember the name of the company tho sorry.

Super Shuttle / Co-op Taxi's run shuttles from there for all/most domestic flights. Sounds like you might have the personal service on offer though.

Part of the interview process is an orienteering seminar on what is expected etc for an overseas job so that is why it takes all day.
