Tortoise ID please

Yeah. Wasn't sure about the ID but when I first saw it I was a little taken aback.

Being housed by knowledgeable people now.

It has very long nails. like very long. creepy like and all haywire.

Legs don't look particularly happy either, but now it looks much happier than when I first saw it.

its both,yanks call them turtles and they can swim.but they don`t have webbed feet and go on land rather than water burrowing into leaf litter etc to find humidity,There is a desert dwelling member of the same family.

so i take it as a tortoise?

Damn those eyes... Talk about expressive...

I hope now it's being cared for by someone more clued up, it'll get a pedicure in the near future.

Can't believe someone would have access to something so rare here, that they would be that inexperienced to make such simple mistakes*

* admittedly making some assumptions here.

Far from. Hate metal or any angry sounding "music". It's not music. Its noise. :lol:

That reminds me of my Nan's old canary, bird could keep up with any metal I played for it.... damn bird was louder then any music I put on..
