Omaria
Now I wonder was it sucked there and died or did it die and was sucked there. Surely a filterpump would be safe for fish? Please someone tell me could the same happen to the other 5?
Caryl
When a fish is not 100% it is easy for it to get tired then sucked up against the filter. Neons are not hardy
DennisP
Speaking of neons and stuff. The day has finally come when a fish decided to swim into the siphon hose during a WC. All was well.
Skip™
Either the fish was not well, and couldn't fight the current and got sucked against it and died, or it died before and then got sucked up against it. Usually the first though. I found a silver tip tetra in the same situation once. I thought it was dead at first but after pulling it off the inlet I noticed it was still alive, but it didn't survive much longer.
bdspider
You could get a bit of foam and attach it to the inlet if you're worried.
Omaria
Just a tad worried what im going to find in the morning, but decided to turn of the light and let them all get some rest, including myself, I've done the best I know how. (And I dont really know much how LOL)

Surely a filterpump would be safe for fish? Please someone tell me could the same happen to the other 5? Omg! That is scary! Exactly the same thing happened to one of mine on the weekend. It was a bit sickly though, so I don't fear for the others...

smidey
dead fish get sucked into the intakes as that's the natural flow, it was dead before it got sucked up.

Omaria
Check Ira's message s/he is asking me 'where did you bruy it' on 2nd thoughts it may be a typo and means 'where did you bury it' in which case the answer is, 'flushed down the toilet.' I hope that was the right thing to do.
