NoToRiOuS
check the auction http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 466757.htm
phoenix44
It's only got a $100 reserve, so its fair game after the first bet. I think it may attract those who like the L46's colours.
A-town...
thats cheap! the auction is for 2 so I reckon thats a great price
phoenix44
buy now is $600 You never know ha ha. i think its a smart move to make a quick buck. 1. It would influence an individuals perspective on what the fish are worth, thus having the potential for those that do not know to bid more and more. 2. ching ching! if someone clicks on the buy now. DennisP
Just a question, what is the harm in that?
phoenix44
Hypans should be fed some meaty foods like raw shrimp. bloodworms are OK but shrimp is much better. A high quality bottomfeeder pellet like hikari goes down a treat.

BikBok
i saw those and thought they were quite neat looking. Would be a cheaper alternative to the awesome HFF zebras but still out of my budget I'm afraid.
dyinggoldfish
i didnt even know we could get zebra pleco's in nz!!!!
phoenix44
what the! we can! have been able to for a long time now, and they have just recently been imported again. L46 that is. L270 are being bred here quite well.
lmsmith
Hmm, I've got some L270s. Maybe I should sell them, if someone paid 600, I'd be a happy girl!!!
JazzyJeff
As with anything - it is only worth what someone will actually pay... and it only takes one person to make it worth that, regardless of what it is priced at anywhere else. Said with all due respect
firenzenz
I think the history and availability of L270 is well known to those on such forums. I don't think they have been on TM much. Tidy profit to be made on that market if you had bred or bought stock at good price.
David R
Would be a cheaper alternative to the awesome HFF zebras but still out of my budget I'm afraid. HFF already have cheaper alternatives to the $$$ zebras with the King Tigers and Chocolate Zebras, $80 and $60 a piece IIRC, and both very attractive fish...
