NYMPHOIDS AQUATICA Commonly known as banana plant I dont beleive it is the actual species that we have in NZ I am thinking Nymphoides indica, anyone have any thoughts? my "banana plant flowers are the same as Nymphoides indica and the plant was purchased from two places. yet remains identical.

The picture is of the submersed juvenile form but will put up full sized floating leaves in time. They need a very rich media to develop the bananas. The flowers look as though they are different on indica and aquatica so it may mean checking the flowers. To be honest I have propagated quite a few from disconnecting leaves but have not seen flowers or bananas so cannot be sure.
