Southerrrngirrl
Super off topic I know but I'm just wondering if anyone has used that washing liquid that you can use to keep your black clothes black? Is it any good? Does it stain the washing machine??
Ira
Sounds like dye...
Caryl
I know you can get stuff to keep whites white (be it dye or bleach based) but not heard of a black one. I would assume, even if it isn't a dye, that it should not stain the washing machine as the dyes you buy certainly don't. Read the label on the container, it should tell you, or have an 0800 number you could ring and ask.

David R
Will it wreck my Heavy Metal Shirts?? They look better when faded anyway... I bought some as my black work pants always seemed to get white marks from the washing powder and it seems to have stopped that, can't comment on the fading yet. Caryl
The original question was "Does it stain the washing machine?" I guess the answer is - no.

tinytawnykitten
I used to always use Persil Black for black clothing but didn't really see it making any difference compared to just washing black stuff separately on a cold wash.
