jamosfish
Thanks....thats a great page. I guess I should have been more specific?? I didn't realise there was an other type of scarlet catfish. Still would love to here from some others that have pseudo's. thanks James
firenzenz
Do you mean the Hypostomus cochliodon that was again given a wrong common name. Omnivore- bit of everything OR L25 -pseudancistrus species that came in about i yr ago. Same with more protein in Diet- shrimp pellets
A-town...
not good with L numbers but L025? had a couple about a year ago got fed mainly higher protein foods as firenzenz said. they actually grew quite quickly but then on sold them
jamosfish
L25 is correct. This post really isn't going well, atleast I know I have to be way more specific in future. Sorry A-Town....Anything in particular you feed them? Anything different to the norm you found they liked? Thanks

firenzenz
Jamos there should be no need for confusion if importers behaved in more enlightened ways. A common name that is recognised universally for a certain fish with known L#, and is already in this country. To use that common on a new, entirely different fish of an entirely different genus because you know it has more market appeal is something you as consumer don't deserve.
