firenzenz
Lovely tank and fish 4myage. And what a selection you have in there. I rubber band my anubias and java fern to my wood or coral rock and after a few weeks they have rroted in.
my4age
Thanks firenzenz. i'll try to use rubber band tomorrow. i'm using fishing line but somehow the fish managed to pull the java fern apart, maybe something wrong with my knotting

ryanjury
Yeah you are right they are some sort of peacock.. It makes it alot more obvious when you see the tank is actually quite small with the person standing in front of it

Most should be able to get off cuts of marble ,sand stone, granite from kitchen bench top manufacturing co....Phill the rocks in my tank which give a good amount of territory & cover fit into a 10L bucket so i would estimate the cubic area of them would equate to around 6 litres of water, hardly worth worrying about out of 300L. Then there is the extra litres created when you use an external filter so that makes up for that easily. you are correct in theory but practically not an issue IMO. phoenix44
yeah for sure. I have used well in excess of 40kg or rock in my tank. about the same as the amount of gravel one would expect in a tank that size.
