  2. sorry, been a while since i check fish forum. i have: yellow red zebra eye bitter fryeri, 2 different strains litho (yellow blaze) fusco red empress nyassa catfish (not cichlid) brown hap breeding colony of julie marleri red shoulder dragon blood sunshine rubenscens most/ all of them might be for sale once i've decided to move
  3. i think they were/are on the list. the importer mislabeled them as giraffe. after few weeks i realized they changed the name to fusco. they are awesome addition to any malawi predatory tank. mine wasn't looking too good when this photo was taken, but i've treated him with metro and now he looks stunning!

  14. u got it rite it's a pain mixing him with fusco and other bigger hap. will remove him to my smaller tank once the smaller fish is a bit bigger
  15. Thanks firenzenz. i'll try to use rubber band tomorrow. i'm using fishing line but somehow the fish managed to pull the java fern apart, maybe something wrong with my knotting
  16. I have problems growing java fern in my african tank as well. Here is a pic of my 5ft
  17. thanks guys. yeah, it's done through diy sump and under gravel jets. It's not the most efficient way to filter a tank with a quite a number of fish, but i don wan too many things inside the tank. you can pm me for more details since this is a thread about rockwork
  18. The fish labeled as Mark's sunshine is a sunshine peacock i bought from him about 9 months ago. He is very orange compare to my other sunshine peacock, almost as orange as my rubenscens which i got from organism. yes, sunshine are more yellow. however according to this page http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/red_peacocks.php , the sunshine and the rubenscens are basically the same type of fish, rubenscens are line breed from selected sunshine peacock that has more orange/ red in them. Thank you, however, both of them are not as nice looking now after i put them in my main tank with bigger/ more aggressive fish :-?
  19. very nice looking fish, Mark here is few of mine Fusco eye bitter young lithobates fryeri Sunshine peacock from Mark rubescens vs sunshine. and e.yellow red shoulder
