I have been getting them from animates but was wanting to know if anyone had anywhere else the went to get them? They are for a aqua one AR-620, 18w PL tubes.

ive seen "white" and also "blue" PL tubes.

I think he means the one side white, the other pink/red in the same tube.

I thought the 620 had 2 separate t8 tubes? does it?

I have a 620T and a 620 both have a pair of PL tubes, they could have changed.

A PL lamp is a compact fluorescent lamp, they need an external ballast, they normally consist of two glass tubes with a base at one end that has the pins that connect to a lampholder. Each tube can be coated with different phosphors that enable it to emit different colour temperature light from a single unit.

ive got some from ideal electrical before. my tank looked bad (edited by Caryl) though still have it but bought a new pet shop one and it made a huge difference so the ideal one went back in its box
