lduncan
The reflections dont match It matches from what I can see. From the low angle the photo is taken from, the reflection shows mostly the corals from the back part of the tank. Layton

Just match colors of the corals in the reflection with the parts you can see.

Brianemone
400 for what? the acan would cost about 120$ there is a red/grey one at the store for 80ish (labeled as a blastomussa non the less) the green sps (poccilopora??) would be about 200ish given its size
reef
the acan would cost about 120$ Just depends what someone is willing to pay. you can get the normal ones cheap enough, just very hard to get the red ones.
Brianemone
but 400$ that seems a little insane
reef
then why is the one that came from you that is down at my lfs only 80$ if they are so rare wouldnt you have charged more than that to the lfs? Never seen another red one like it. thye might start of as a pail green as i noticed that one i had left is changing to red, will see how it goes. $400 is alot , but thats what they charge in the states, why is NZ special, Dont really want to part with it, but will at the right price. SteveA
You must be doing something right. That styplophora looks like it is as big as its parent now. Steve
dogmatix
Poccilopora, id hate to think what a stylo that size is worth
SteveA
Poccilopora, id hate to think what a stylo that size is worth Don't think so. Looks one of the children of this stylophora, which AFIK, is the parent of all the green stylophora in the country. Steve
cookie extreme
reefs is a poccilopora darminocornis, i have seen it. stylophora don't seem to grow as fast as pocci either so its pretty hard to get good size frags. i have only managed 3 stylo frags but countless poccilopora. so if you have a fast growing green one i would be happy to get a frag some day . SteveA
You are correct. They do look similar. His stylophora has not yet grown as big as it's parent and is still only about fist sized apparently. Steve
