evilknieval69
Went to New Plymouth yesterday (took us like 6 hours to get there but we stuffed around heaps) and picked up this little beauty. Not brand new, but still cost an arm and a leg we stayed the night and came back today Tis' the newest to my collection of 4. Heres a pic with my other good one (which i've had since just before xmas, bought it brand new)there are two others in the garage which arent as flash (old beastys, but very cool all the same) I've got MTS, and MBS (you can guess what that is) but i love them 8) P.S. Yes they look small against that fence, but its just a realy tall fence lol
davidb
Whats your free-ride bike? Looks mint. I am down to 3 bikes myself. Managed to sell my Specialised Road bike for $2000 the other day as I hardly used it anymore as my knees are too stuffed for road racing now. Im not a big fan of giant but your DH looks all good... davidb
bro buy that ellsworth frame on trademe. $1000 is a steal and its in Rotorua so easy pick up for you!
evilknieval69
Free-ride bike? You mean the hardtail? Thats just an Avanti Derelikt type two. Average quality stuff on it, but i've upgraded a few things (brakes especially!) The frames are built tough, although heavy-ish. they are actually built for dirt jumping, but i use mine for cross country, and just general riding (and up until today, i used it for downhill too) but the lack of travel in the front, and the solid rear end made going fast downhill and doing jumps etc very harsh EDIT: re ellsworth, looks like a VERY nice bike, but i dont need it, and i just spent all my $$ on the Giant lol

evilknieval69
I dont actually have any photos of me riding a bike, lol. David, what have you got? you had a trailstar aye? but you sold the frame or something did you not?
David R
Yeah, I sold the trailstar and picked up a cheap coilair frame off trademe. Its a bit of a bitza but its fine for now and I didn't have the money to buy a whole new bike at the time. I've been riding for about 14 years now, although admittedly not very much in the past 5 years.

FreedingFrenzy
Ah, bikes... Yep... That's about as much as I know about them They look cool though guys - A-town have you ever been to woodhill? im sure you have.. i love it..
David R
Woodhill is alright, the structures are kinda fun, but the sandy trails are horrible unless its wet. Its a good place to ride in winter. Riverhead is better when its dry, plus the hills are bigger so you get a longer run down. Dome valley is even better agaiN! FreedingFrenzy
Not sure where abouts at woodhill... But I was going down this huge slope in the bush and I pretty much bailed... Hurt.. a lot..
