An old school aquaintance used to do glider towing as part of clocking hours for CPL Mr L ASW 20 & 27's are really good ships, you can always store them out at the airfield (Mrs Loopy need never know). Although there is little point in buying a glider as the club have a couple of high performance ships. The Janus in the photo held 2 world records for speed over distance. When you ballast it up with water, it goes like a rocket. But it is very very slippery. My power friends are always suprised at how fast it can get away on you.
