Maybe it's the bloodworms, I dunno. What I get is a itchy eye, then it turns sore. When I feed them at night and go to bed my nose starts running. Ira Posted October 9, 2003 Report Share Posted October 9, 2003 Heh, I've found the same thing happens if I feed my fish bloodworms, in the process getting it on my fingers. Then if I happen to rub my eye it starts to itch, which makes me rub it more making it worse. I get a little bubble on it and my eye waters like mad. Solution? Bloodworms are fairly well known as a source of allergy problems. People I know in the US can not go anywhere near bloodworms without some pretty serious symptoms, which get worse with each exposure.
