JDM
I think it will be interesting to have a poll of all out there who currently have a saltwater set up, be it a reef tank or fish only, or cold salt water or any other salt water tanks, if you have one, let us know, everyone please. full tank photos would be cool too. heres mine
PENEJANE
Well as you know (from recent thread) I just started my first tropical marine 7g nano so that pic is going to be pretty empty. Also is a FTS of my cold water marine which I want to get some hermit crabs and more anemones. Enjoy :bounce:

skippy
This be mine, 370 litres, bow front jobbie. Lights have changed - now have an Arcadia 3 Series pendant. These are older photos (except the first one which was August). Need to take some new ones to show off the new lights Overall Overall at night Closer up from front Closer up from rhs All the engine room is underneath (no fish room here ) incl sump, fuge, insump skimmer, heater, pumps, etc (and even a bit of room to store stuff  ). Chiller to the left of tank. Have had a bit of a change around inside since these were taken. Hope you like it - I do but it is a work in progress (aren't they all ) Mmmmmmhhhh - Streams  Cheers Skippy

rossco
Our tank one year on. 4ft (around 400 litre?) bow front. I'm really looking forward to our upgrade so I don't have to crowd all the corals under the single 150w halide. Its sorta like a family of 8 midwinter in Invercargill crowding around a single bar heater to keep warm!
wasp
Wow each pic is great! Can't get a decent full pic of mine at the moment cos my lights are funny but a big thumbs up to each of the tanks shown

Zev
aww... the pictures got ruined by non-picture posts  i cant work out my camera it's  me off. keeps showing it in mega blue and looks nothing like it... and now the camera battery is dead... I was going to ask how you get non-blue photos... Mine are terrible, and if you use the flash it looks worse. I've even tried turning the blue fluros off, makes no difference. grrrrrrr.... chimera
yeah, annoying huh? i find having the flash on for full tank shots works best - and more so if they are taken on a slight angle so you dont get flash off the glass. otherwise i think white balance settings to get rid of blue. about to try again now... chimera
here's my tank as of tonight. i've moved the lights up another 3" from where they were before. i found i had to reduce the % blue and lightness in photoshop as 1300W's of lighting fully saturates the photo!!! Full tank shot Left side Right side
skippy
Looks good Chim. Its grown since the pics in the saltwater members section. Must admit I love the moonlight pics in the members section. Have been trying to find some moonlights but having trouble finding them locally. Any suggestions? Its grown since the pics in the saltwater members section. cheers dude. i've updated the members section with these pic's some were a bit old Must admit I love the moonlight pics in the members section. Have been trying to find some moonlights but having trouble finding them locally. Any suggestions Speak to reef, I got my one off him ages ago. It's a tidy little unit though but much cheaper to DIY it. Problem i got now is the moonlight squeezes it's light through 2 reflectors, may 2" or so? Not as good as those old pics This is a good thread, need more pic's of other tanks. Very cool to see!
