Then make a choice, no use slating BOC on how they run their Business.. I rent two bottles with them and am happy as it is not all about price, if it is then we would all be shopping at the warehouse.

The cost is what is cost as that is the price for doing Business. Air Liquide cost about the same to fill a bottle. As mentioned BOCs core business is not filling aquarium co2 bottles. They charge what they do to stay in Business. Its a volume game , you fill your co2 bottle every week and i am sure you will get a far better price, Filling a co2 bottle once a year is hardly worth it so that is why they charge more and why not.

At the end of the day they charge what they have to to stay in business. Filling a few co2 for aquarium use is hardly going to be a priority .If it was then they would close down like most aquarium shops who try to big under cutters of pricing. Try dealing with councils who are the biggest biggest rip off merchants. no wonder house prices are so expensive.
