  1. i finally got my hands on some J. Marleri aswell. they are in with my tropheous. I know its not the correct diet but i am sure they will be fine. From the research i did everyone thought that it would be okay.
  2. il try doing it a bit later. thnx for the advice mate.
  3. Hi paul, nice seeing you the other day. I have spawned them, the only problem is that they dont wanna hatch!!! The tank is like 160L tho.
  4. i have got 6 of these fish. I am sure that i have 4Females and 2 males. I have gotten 4 spawns from them before and non of their eggs have been fertile/fungused within 2-3 days. All ranged from 12-27 eggs. But today i had a spawn of 46 eggs. As usual i collected the eggs and put them in a small ice-cream container with an airstone and MB. Then attached it to the side of the parents tank. I have done this with other cory eggs and everything went well, but why do these cories keep giving me problems. Any suggestions will be much appriciated.
  5. well well... mine spawned and i have got a few babies in a net at the moment. 2 days after free swimming

  7. good stuff mate. Love the varieties that you have got. ESP L102
  8. Thanx Alot. I do really like the L102 (the biggest hypancistrus), only problem being, i have only ever seen one male Yea i have got L066 WC.
  9. They are not L102. They are much smaller than that L136a. In the 2nd pic you can see 2 females and a male and they are only about 7cm. Will give that trio a go in about 2 months. I am having problems with my L066. They have to spawn someday soon
  10. Julidochromis transcriptus Julidochromis marlieri Altolamprologus compressicep T.ikola T.pemba
  11. no the apistos are tank bred. same goes to some of the catfish as well. All the whiptails are tank, some of the plecos are wild
  12. my males have more than 2 rows..actually more than three and females 2. My biggest female is getting very gravid :bounce:
  13. tell me about it. Ive got a few of them
  14. yup thats true. I dont think that we can get them. Medusa looks better because they keep the spots where as the ranunculus slowly lose the spots. thats my 2 cents from what i have read. They have been accidently spawned once, which is not recorded.
  15. i dont know what happened ay. I have spawned them a few times but never got anything like this. I would expect 100% albino babies tho, cos both parents are visual albino. do you have any normal BN in the tank..just asking mate. It could have been a double spawn
  16. great stuff bud. I have spoken to a guy that has spawned them before. He is one of the suppliers. Just go to plecofanatics and search for L182 mate. Comes up with heeps of stuff.
  17. there are a few reports on both planetcatfish and plecofanatics. What every it is, its always a challenge to breed fancy plecos. Great stuff mate. Good luck with it all.
  18. my Julidachromis spawned today aswell i think..yey
