went to goldfish pagoda this afternoon. the guy is really nice. he sold me a lightbuld which i couldn't get anywhere else. he said that if a shop sells a fish for $100, he will sell it for $60. Thats a bargain perky

peter, i agree with you. not only should we aquaculture coral, someone should also think about aquaculturing fish and ornamental shrimp. perky

Pies, I agree with you. This should be a place for people to express their feelings about the hobby. Slagging off another member isn't on. but expressing your feelings about a company whether they be good or bad should be allowed. this allows for the company to improve on their image and performance to the public. regarding goldfish pagoda, my grandmother said "if you find somewhere cheaper than the big shops, go for it. If other shops get upset, they should make their prices more realistic" and shes right tho. perky

dogmatix, How do you know this? I have found that some of of the staff at jansens don't know what they are talking about. I asked one of the staff at jansens if they had any mandarin fish. they replied "you mean the big yellow ones? yeah we have them." I am sure he was talking about a yellow tang, but definately not a mandarin. since when are mandarins big and yellow?

i don't know how many marines tanks he has, but he told me to give him a ring in about a week when he gets his list. I mean, wrasses for $55. thats pretty cheap.

I have just found out about a new fish shop in howick. the sell marines, tropical and coldwater. they are getting a list next week and they are getting a shipment in 3 weeks. they are also cheaper than some of the bigger shops. their six line wrasses are $55 and in the bigger stores they are $69. their ph number is 576 3333. just thought you guys should know perky

Get rid of these starfish. THEY ARE A PEST. At night, the eat your corals. They breed like crazy.
