  1. does anyone know the scientific name for ruby sharks, i cant find google images!! and are they on the list?>
  2. i dont believe his garage is insulated. just the garage under the house, foundations, concrete, thats the problem i believe. the only way to do it is to line the tank as lining the garage would be difficult, though i would do it, but will cost a bit to line with poly. in saying that, i lined my garage with poly costing 400 dollars, the power it saves me was returned in less than 4 months. power bill went down fast, temperature held better. Poly on glass is my suggestion.
  3. i can totally understand the hesitation of telling everyone of a rare fish that is obtained or posting pics. i had that too with the red.. almost feels like, i wanna let it settle in first or something lol im sure fishie will tell us in due course! or i can apply the chinese water torture to obtain that info:D
  4. question is, why do you wanna artificlaly remove amonia? filters should take care of it. if its an emergency, then i would suggest seachem prime. the most cost effective product.

  8. 6 inch is small, easy bagged. but yes, gotta float bag wtih any fish. suggest is catch it with a bag - dotn catch it wtih a net, it damages them and often destroys the barbels. then jsut float the bag. easy. jardiniis are hardier too, probably hardiest of all aros byt he way they act lol
  9. i am unsure if javamoss or fern would anchor onto glass

  13. nice! i particularly like it when its bright and its shining bright lol looks big! and a bullet head. shame bout gill curl but its ok, if it functions normally, it doesnt matter. i dont think ill be getting thos small gold fish again, hard to grow out and as theya re defects they dont grow some of them!! i think ill just get them from hff - they have bulk discounts right now. maybe next vid you canput a mous:D haha

  20. IMO steel is the way to go. wood does look good but its more expensive for wood if its for a big tank i reckon, a nice wood stand, polished and everything is more. mys tand cost me 800 from Rex Engineering in Glenfield - its 2100 byu 830 and quite tall even. Call them, im sure they can ship for cheap! maybe:D theya re precise too, engineering firm you see. New Tank phil? I know, you are getting an XB!!!??
