I had a look on the Marine Depot site Chimera posted (thanks) They look good what size would I need.

What are these water movers?

Pies that looks to tech. for me what else can I use.

I need to replace my eden power things they keep stopping, need some info on sea swirls, price, can I fit them to my tank, are there different brands where to buy etc

We try hard. The aim is a nice family oriented friendly place where people can come for advice or information without being made to feel stupid or inadequate. To clear up one point the photo I posted was not my coral, I posted that for Chris who started this topic. My Elegance coral was bought and died from a much earlier shipment about 8 to 10 months ago. It died within a week so like Pies said it was most certainly already on its fatal decline when a got it and not a lot I could have done. Still waiting to hear from Chris on how his coral is.

So true I guess there is only one way to learn, as long as we all care and take care and try our best. The way the reefs are going we may hold history in our tanks.

Well shops should advise that these corals are for ADVANCED REEF KEEPERS ONLY and not sell them to the likes of me. I suppose I can say I am irresponsible for the purchase in the first place, none of my equipment is DIY and each purchase was made on the advise of the shop. I was not advised of any special requirement for this coral at purchase if nothing else I hope this post will bring it to the attention of others when offered this coral. I do not wish to offend any importer I think you do a great job I am just concerned for the future of our great REEFS

I use west coast sea<>I watch for algae bloom in summer and if tide is wrong use AFS<> I do 5% weekly because I'm using Zerovit. NO problem with leathers REEF. When I say I mean we Frog goes and gets it with the 3 wheeler

Chris were you advised of the above info at purchase did the supplier know how old your tank was and did they give you feeding tips lighting tips and how much did you pay for this coral. If not a refund should be given and then suppliers would think twice!!

Its a pity, I wasn't given this info from the retailer when I purchased this beauty I wouldn't have got it as my tank was also new. It died within a week it's not the $200 that upsets me, its the fact of killing something.
