Yea to much of everything I over feed Frog (my husband) too!! Will try and cut down again.

Have tried cutting down on feeding but the chromis skinny out, plus the bicolour angle starts nipping corals. P.S. I trust the selifert test kit will test my top up water.

Reef i have been doing water changes 150 ltrs fortnightly after doing 300 ltrs weekly on a 600 ltr tank.

Nitrates 25<>salifert Nitrates 5 <> Hagen Phosphate between 0-0.25 just there<>Hagen My nitrates have always been the same testing with salifert, Yet before starting Zeovit Hagen tested 5 and now showing small drop something is wrong with one of these test kits.

My interest is because I started using Zeovit last week to remove high nitrate levels. Concerned about comment not good for soft corals and leathers?.

Been having a read here who is using this system by the way does any one know how many Reefers are in NZ?

i tried these on both tanks about 1 year ago both broke down had to take back to shop and go back to normal heaters.

I started off with 9 Blue Chromis which i thought would make a nice school but i only have 5 remaining they are a very hungry fish and i tried to cut down on my feeding because of high nitrate, they skinnied out and lost colour the ones remaining are ok now except for one still skinny the boy Clark Clown chases them a bit so they dont form a nice school.

six anemones in total, I feed them Port Waikato whitebait they love it, its in season now and forsale in the Port. I just put by the tentacles and they take it into the mouth.

I have been doing marine for just under 2 years have done 3 upgrades in this time still learning. If you live in Mt Roskill you must know about Hollywood fish farms in Frost Rd. and Jansens in Mt Eden Rd. I got every thing I needed at Hollywood last time around. My lights cost about 3 Thousand but that was for 2, see pics under 65 motor homers. I suggest you make a time to talk to Dave at Hollywood he is the owner and is not always there Im sure he will give you a price for a set up. Also come for a drive to Port Waikato and see my tank and set up and some of the others that will give you some idea. My tank is at 25D and I sure do need my chiller even at this time of year more in summer dont ask what the power bill is. But word of warning you cant neglect a marine tank you have to be dedicated, But I absolutely think its worth it.

Ive got blue circle white spot cure (dose 2 drops per ltr) is this the same stuff as meth blue.
