got a new tank last weekend and have finally put some fish in it had a crakc at building my own tank today. what a DESASTER that was, it took me the whole day to cut the right size outta old windows, and then silycon silycon everywer lol, actually now i think about it wasnt that funny really, does any1 here no how to remove silycon from glass once its dried? heck no! what sort of chemicals do you think dishwashing liquid contains look on the back, when i say boiling water thats so it gets rid of any bacteria or chemicals already on the tupper ware

just make sure you sterilize it first whether it be with the fish anti-septic or boiling water

spose that makes sence! and i also soppose they have to approve the type of fish you want to import into the country?

i noticed your the moderator of another fish forum steve, well im not sure its a welcome to the fnzas or welcome back to the fnzas? so i sopose a "hi" will have to surfice

im not sure but i think i might have read ina forum whether it be this or another that there are a type of fish out there that eat snails? "clown loach" i think it might have been? if any1 could help me with this as i wuld like to do the natural thing and buy some sort of fish that will eat snails instead of useing a chemical to get rid of them! sounds like to much of a pain in the ass unless your going to import some very expensive fish into nz that arnt already here, to breed them and make tonnes of money?????
