  1. you want to skim as much of the surface as possible as to remove a higher ratio of surface proteins. i would suggest having the overflow comb the whole way around the box to skim as much as possible

  3. clown nice and happy now that ive fed him, rearranged the corals into their more permanent homes (i had some light sensative corals that where in the shade to accustomize themselves) and moved the heater so that i cant really see it while im "working" ill upload the pics tonight

  16. first little patches of corraline have started growing on the back wall and on the heater. i will be adding a few more corals this week and the clown fish will be living in here untill the new big tank is up and running with sump and all pics will be taken once clown and corals are in the tank and happy

  18. i top up 3 litres pretty much every day and my tank is ony 88 litres. my tank at work get about a cup every other week as it has a lid and temp is very stable as its in an office building
  19. 27, its hard for me to keep a constant lower temp with my lighting and no sump, will have 25 on the new tank as the sump will help alot and the lights wont effect my temp as much.

  23. i have it in two places with identical flow and the one with more light is thriving, the one in average light is surviving. i have another peice in high light lowish flow and that is also growing very well and pulsing away
