i cant get my bn's to spawn either. when the male flares up and chases the female away from the bamboo, is this good?? my badisbadis did that and then spawned. k anyways. well done kylefish. do you have pics as i have no idea what a L52 is.

does anyone know of a small plec that only gets around as big as a bn, has attractive colouring and doesn't cost too much?? i have noticed that the baryancistrus sp. are normally around $150+ which is too much for my budget. oh an it would probably have to survive ph 8.2. i am not looking for fish for sale, just ideas. if no-one knows any, what about african fish that look like synodontus. Thanx in advance

that is definately a yellow, there aren't many, if any other africans with full yellow colouring so....well done, i found one baby left in my tanks when i got back from holiday. sometimes if they dont have many eggs you cant tell if they are holding or not, you can sometimes tell by who isn't eating. i sometimes just sit by my african tank and watch them, hoping i can see them thinking about thinking anbout thinking about spawning :lol: good luck for more spawns
