Sorry for the bad photos, some of my blackline flying fox's scales are peeling, he is very fat and won't stop eating. could this be dropsy?

Hi all, I have a new batch of swordtail fry, and they are currently all in a breeding trap. I woke up this morning to find that (probably) one of the fry has let its tail through the holes in the bottom of the trap and a big fish has bitten it off &c:ry . Will he ever grow it back? :dunno:

hi guys, I have a small problem with my java fern. I used a cable tie to hold it on to my driftwood, and now the roots are in the driftwood, but the roots have also stuck on to the cable tie. Is there anything I can do? Thanks, Sam
