thank you :thup: browns are sweeet fish, rite up with some of my fav fish. I had a big old boy but I did a massive tank over haul change around and gave all my fish to a mate to look after for a few weeks and it never came back :tears:

I got a few fish from him earlyer in the year, his set up is amazing. my jaw dropped in amazment

yip and in both tanks with the dems they are far from the boss

most africans are stropy lilttle buggers, I havnt had many issues with my dems since I have uped my numbers to over 20 per group and addded much more rock work

so far so good, had my snow whites in with my other group of dems without issue as well. my dom male SW takes on the dom brown hap a bit, which from what I understand is unusual for them

time for an update. Out of desperation I had too add some new fish so I added my brown haps, snow whites and my 3 smallest cuckoo cats ( havnt seen a single one since I added them :tears: ) as well as adding some plants. The background is slowly starting to age so is getting a nice look to it, shellies keep breeding but I am yet to spot a fry after a day or two after venturing out of the nest. I am going to remove the group to breed from them next year to increse my numbers if they cant do it in this tank. Dems getting bigger and breeding like rabbits, several fry coming out of cracks and from under shells I have also finshed to stand except for the colour of it, so no more seeing the sump :tears: but it does look cleaner

My LFS gave me some free plants today! :happy1: I am really starting to enjoy shopping at this place more and more, very thankful they came to Nelson. I return for them giving me some freebies I ordered some things and lined up half a dozen new fish for when I have the room :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm: ...... So does anybody want to buy some e yellows... :nfs:

found similar issues with empress and bumblebees, empres fry/young arnt overly attractive unlike the male so people think twice and there is only so many fry you can sell in one region. but on track, I do a WC once a day for fry after the first week ( dont touch anything in the first week) when I can. but I normaly stop after a month

several tell me they do not carry fish, as I am picking up fish from them or informing them that i have some arriving in the up coming days.

Will inurence cover stolen fish? they will not cover dead fish i know this much. I want to know exactly how large they are, as well as what sort ( just like everyone else)

just take your time and be patient is my adivce. the first time i striped i lost the fish through my own neglect and handling. Mistakes happen and if this does happen learn from it.

And she has a one incredible set of pipes on her as well
