not the first time today that I have been told that relating to fishkeeping :sml1: :slfg:

yeh I already encounter that, i feed plecs one end and cichlids the other, i normaly turn lights out about 20 min before i feed to give them a fighting chance, no issues thus far. and the odd vege on a stick seems to help as well You are rite, I DO WANT TO, but every other aspect of my life says no :tears:

Homebrew no matter how hard you try,how much practise, how much research and how much you try to mimic the real deal is just not the real deal. And I like you ( I think from memory) brew my own and have for years, but I still cant pash up on a real JD or a nice cold brew from a brewery. Maybe this is the same as home made preserves sauces ect. I much prefer my dad's home made pickled onions over store bought, I think due to the conditioning I have had as a kid. the same could be said for home made alcohol, in most case's mass produced alcohol will be the first thing you drink as a teen not homebrew so you have a taste for that insteed of homebrew.

Same could be said as to how drunk you are. Alcohol does not MAKE you want to act more violentley. you can not just blame something for your actions Yes I am a guy and I am very manist, the switch of power is heading toward women and I am rying to stand up for males rites. dont get me wrong I am not using it as an excuse I am trying to make it aware that there is other colporates that the dominant discourse dont advertise. doesnt all mind altering substences do the same thing?

If you are violent by nature you will be violent in any state of mind. Alcohol does not promote violence. i do agree it impairs judgement but as does weed.if you want to hit someone when stoned you will. both make you uncoordinated hence why you are not legally allowed to drive when your blood alcohol level is above a set limit.

I got the point, I was mearly stateing that binge drinking and domestic violence is not just a male problem. and it is sterotypes like this and others that get expressed that stops this country from growing and possibly will stop any chance of cannibis from moving from illegal to legal. and Alcohol will not make you violent any more then dope will make you not violent. I have never been violent while on the razz, if you are a violent natured person or have violent tendences you are more likely to become this way while drinking. you can not blame the booze, the justice system doesnt allow it, so why should the public?

Nice sterotype, how about binge on alcohol and you smash your husband and dog. Men are not the only colperates when it comes to binge drinking or spousal abuse for that matter.

I have found in my line of study and previous work, A lot of people that do take mind ultering drugs on a regular/daily basis claim nothing is wrong when in actual fact there is but they are hiding the issue with intoxicating there minds. I think a great example is people drinking hard spirits or any alcohol for that matter when losing a loved one. very common practise

Man that is huge! I have always like the idea of having 3 huge tanks in wall crevice running on three diffrent filter systems having top dweelers in top tank, middle dweelers in the middle and bottom dweelers funnily enough at the bottom. this way you could have fish from all parts of the world in one display in there natural enviroment. I think I need to buy lotto tickets from now on :sml1:

That is pretty much what I was thinking when refering to fancy plecos, just needed clarification on that to confirm. Idealy I would love to set up a pleco only tank, but house space is at critical limit rite now so just not possible. I was useing sexing more as an example at this stage. currently no desire to attempt to breed any plecs... for now that is at least. Thank you both for your help and input on this.

100% agree with you, but I was saying that as a guideline you only have to drink 21 in a week or 3 a night to be a alcoholic, which by the sounds of it is common throughout a lot of the western world. Again I 100% agree with you

Isnt daily drinking and high consumption two conponents of alcoholism? NZ guidelines says 21 standards in a week is classed as alcoholism, I wonder if that number is diffrent in france And its just the way they are, the same could be said of binge drinking kiwis?

When you say fancy plecos what do you mean, more specific examples of ones to avoid I think I am asking. I have been reading a lot of threads on frontosa.com and they suggest a wide variety of plecs being suitable with fronts. that may however be keeping them alive and not in optimum conditions for the plecs but only for the fronts. Also is it safe to say that althought I may hand over $200 for what has been supplied as a L168 to a shop, then sold as a L168 is not actualy a L168? being that they are very similar to a couple of other plecs? I ask this after reading through some of the discussions on this forum regarding sexing, breeding and general Identifying of these fish
