I just checked my colony this morning an noticed heaps of tiny little white dots crawling around the container.. iv tryed researching about it an sounds like bran/oat mites or something? an its to do with the moisture. has anyone experinced this before.. what do i do to get rid of them? an do i need to throw out the entire culture?

was wondering what light i should buy to light up a big tank.. i have brought a 5m led strip but dont think thatl be enough.. went to some shops they sugested the 5ft T5 lights an that seprate unit for the ends of it to plug into i would like led lights but dont know which one i see you can get them in tubes

when my flatmate flooded the house 6months ago by leaving the tap of before he went to work.. i rung the insurance company they got carpet cleaners out an all the big fans an dehumidfeyrs then ended up finding out the hard way carpet is coverd under contents not house insurace because it wasnt glued down its contents so can be removed when sell it..so had to cough up abot 5-600 for them to sort the carpet an the insurance said they would have a look at the skrting an then came back with sayn its not that bad an couldve been from a washingmachine overflow

I read this post an went an checked it out today yea that display tank is pretty cool alright. he said hes getting some fish in after easter weekend so will be going back to check them out their pretty cool an he was really friendly nice person. he almost twisted my arm into going marine but then adding up all the stuff need to set it out its up their! so think ill just stick with my tropical.. cool to go check it out tho

yea yea thats true, i guess didnt realise how much of a problem he is for space to me he looks fine in their with the rest of the fish so thats why i asked. cool stuff a aro i like them but think itd be a bit to much for me

its a red tail gourami if that makes any diffrence.. iv had it for a few months now an when got it got told 900 odd litres would be a good size tank from him.. just doing some more research on him now as always thought he was fine till as is for now.
