Ive had people break into my fish room and steals thousands worth of stock and gear.Also caught people trying to pinch stock right in front of me have to be very careful nowadays

I was on rain water at my place in drury the ph came out at around 6.8-7 i didnt use any buffers.Would ur drfitwood lower the levels that much that you would need to use buffers?

I keep africans.plecos.guppies.etc lots of fish have been stolen from me and lost of others have had there fish taken too

Very nice tanks all i could suggest would be black backgrounds on both and a dark substrate for your apistos

depending on what types of cichlids u are wanting to breed u will be wanting four footers for breeding and 3 foot grow outs with some smaller for fry raisers.the biggest part for breeding will be getting qualty stock and most likely have to grow up some youngs and choose best specimens or if you are really lucky you could buy someones breeding groups if any1s got any.would like to see some progress pics

damn is there anyway i can remove current pl fittings and replace with t5 or t8?pl is so expensive

i have no idea about lighting i just picked up a DYMAX REX-Pl Quad light and was wondering if t5s will fit or is it striclty pl lights as the fitting size seems same size as a t5 bulb im geussing not but would like to know cheers

Also make sure u have a decent sized tank aswell id probably do max 5-6 young discus under 10cm in a 3foot but then would need a four foot to not stunt them.and heavy filtration also

A guy i know still has his iriginal pair for 12 years now his oldest male i think is 16 years.id say average would be 6 years even with good water quality

im feeding hikari gold.excel.and im feeding spirulina protein pellets.also sinking hikari pellets.algae wafers and the odd flakes every 3rd day

Its all a balancing act i use to have ridiculos amounts of tanks that took up too much of my time.But she has always come first and always will its very cold on my couch haha
