Just check if you do end up doing what i have suggested then make sure the current fitting is for E14's. HTH.

I mean take out the current bulb and replace it with one of these which will be 100 times brighter than your current one. and you wont have to add any extra wire or drill holes. This one is best suited for your needs. IMO. http://www.miniinthebox.com/e14-36-led- ... 43728.html

Currently does the fitting have an E27 socket? Then you could just put one of these in: Or Edit: Wring bulb type on links.

No tribes have successful claims to water. They don't own the water,in the case of lake taupo they own the lake bed, lake shore and air above the lake. Get your facts right and respect peoples opinions.

Yes i'll be getting lilly pipes soon. @Sophia- Corys are in my Quarantine tank until the plants have started to grown and take hold, other wise the corys will just dig every single plant up.

Trying to claim Water rights is a joke, just like the Maori claim for radio waves. Waste of time/money for both sides IMO.

I trim the roots down to about 4cm.

Firstly, Hi & Welcome. If you are looking for character then a dwarf cichlid would be your best bet for a tank your size. I would suggest Any type of aspito or ram. For the upper layer I would reccomend hatches or danios. For the lower levels I would reccomend some corys. -
