:smot: My ex had a RC car, plane and boat lol And he had tons of model aeroplanes hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom and his sleepout. He made the boat himself from scratch. I ended up getting a RC VW Beetle while I was with him... I put most of it together by myself but had a little help lol I still have it but haven't used it for years.

I know FHS is rare but apparently more common in oriental breeds like Siamese. Mischief has some Tonkinese in her.

I remember reading a funny thing about cats online once and one of the things it said was that a cat will only want to sit on your lap when they jump up there themselves. If you put them on your lap they will jump off, but will come back a few minutes later :roll: :lol: That is so true! Unless it's their idea they are not interested. :lol:

Yes I love having one of the cats snuggled up with me in bed on a cold winters night :love: That's one thing I like about winter lol In summer the cats usually want nothing to do with us and spend most of the day and night outside. In winter they are inside most of the time... they only really go out to go to the toilet and then they want to come straight back in again. Sometimes they stand by the door so I open it and then when they realize how cold it is out there they turn around and decide they don't want to go out after all lol Speaking of which, we need a cat door lol

Just minnows and one fantail goldfish. I added the amount of salt it says to add on the internet. From memory it was 3 tsp per gallon of water. My tank is about 19 gallons.

In summer they do drink water from the bowls but in winter they drink it outside or in the bathroom.

I gave up on putting water in a bowl years ago because they just don't drink it... they just go and drink water outside or from the handbasin tap or shower. I put water into Mischiefs bowl today and she sniffed it and walked away. Then later she was drinking water from the shower box. :dunno:

I was told they are wild guppies... but they are coldwater. I'll have to find my post about them.

Bit impossible to tell the vet how much she is peeing and pooping as she goes to the toilet outside lol

Made a vet appointment for Saturday at 3pm. That way the whole family ie hubby, me and the kids can all go. The kids esp. Abby are very fond of the cats. Apparently Mischief is Abbys favourite cat LOL Mind you, she scratched/bit Abby this morning for no reason when Abby went to pat her and Abby said Mischief is mean LOL So maybe Cleo is her favourite now lol She isn't doing it all the time. It seems to happen in the morning and again in the evening. She hasn't done it (that we have seen) at all since about 4pm yesterday.

Bikbok they're not guppies. But since I don't know what they are and the pet shop calls them cold water guppies, that is all I can call them. :dunno: I've done the salt treatment without cleaning the tank/vacuuming or anything. In the morning I will do a gravel vacuum and water change. And I have to add salt to the new water I put in there too. I have to do it daily ... not sure how long for. I think for 7 days from when I think the ich is eradicated....

It's a coldwater tank and I don't have a thermometer so no idea... :dunno:

I just noticed today one of my guppies has spots all over him... on further inspection of all the fish in the tank I can see spots on all the guppies, but not on the minnows or the fantail goldfish. I've put salt in the tank. I read online to dissolve it first in some of the tank water before adding it to the tank and to put it into the water in an area that has lots of water movement so I put it in where the filter is. It says to do 1/3 of the dosage first and then another 1/3 in 12 hours and the other 1/3 in another 12 hours, from memory. And also to vacuum the tank every day. So I've put 4 1/3 tablespoons of salt into the tank (64L) and will do the same again in the morning. Should I do the gravel vacuum before I add the salt or after? I really don't want to lose my fish

Thankfully, it couldn't have happened at a better time. While we have the money to spend on tests. I just hope it's nothing serious.

We just got our new car. It's a 2004 Nissan Liberty. Unfortunately the manual is in Japanese lol It has a screen with reversing camera and a TV but the menu for the TV is all in Japanese and all we have managed to do so far is get sound for channel 4.... OR does anyone here HAVE a 2004 Nissan Liberty??

I think she has Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. After reading about it on the net ... all her symptoms match and I had a look on YouTube and I'm 99.9% sure that that is what the problem is. (

We already lost the chocolate one (which was the biggest of the two) to a cat. So I removed the blue one and it's in the 64L tank with my guppies and minnows. He/she was lucky ... he/she has a tear in her top fin and her tail It's only about 7cm so not big enough yet to eat the smaller fish. I'm getting a bath tub and covering with perspex/clear acrylic. With a gap of course just big enough to put food in and to get air in. I'll have to get a pump/filter.

Our cat Mischief is 12 years old. Tonight she has been nipping at her sides and jumping and running around the house. She is treated for fleas with Revolution monthly. I felt both her sides and can't feel any lumps or anything. Then when hubby went to bed she jumped onto the bed and was sitting there and started nipping again and she was watching the blanket and her tail and nipping at thin air. Have to make an appointment at the vet tomorrow.

I have been thinking about turtles.... lol This is becoming rather expensive :slfg:
