  2. Iv been off the forum for a few weeks, finally get back on and I read this!!!! Im gutted, I have 7 of his books and read a number of his papers and have grown to feel like I practically new the man!!!! still no doubt- lived a good life, defiantly a man I'll strive to live up to =) RIP Robert
  3. this is bridge end, behind the village. I'd be keen as to show you guys around! In Lucas creek we have- freshwater native=longfin eels, common bullys(possibly crans as well), Inanga, smelt. freshwater introduced= Gambusia, Koi Carp. brackish= mud crab, triple fin Marine wanderer= mullet we also got some others in Oteha Vally stream.

  7. sorry going off topic and thinking out loud here... but any one no if the gravel colour can effect natives colours? I would imagine bullys would appear darker as far as camouflage goes? problem just them...... crays maybe 2
