  3. Cheers guys getting so close how :happy1: Finished 3rd and final coat of paint on the ceiling today and got the ceiling light on. And started yesterday the bit id not been looking forward to, digging the 8m by 600mm deep trench for the power cable and water pipe. but all done now, and i managed to get a small amount of underground "warning electric cable below" tape off someone for free, witch saved me buying a silly amount. I also put the rubber door seals on both of the doors. All that's left now is: -Buy and fix timer (for the daytime light power points -Buy a RCD for the original tool shed to connect up the new shed -Paint the architraves. -Build some steps and a veranda thing to keep the rain off the door -There is a piece of barge flashing still need to be put on too -My uncle needs to come out and connect up the power cable to the old switchboard and check my wiring skills
  4. Getting to the end now Polyurethaned the walls with 3 coats, Got the internal architraves on, And I wired on most of the fittings, just a few things to go how :happy1: :happy1:
  5. That bearded dragon has already out grown that enclosure, you really need something 1200mm by 500mm
  6. As of that site you are allowed to keep Shingleback lizards and bearded dragons only grow to 250mm
  7. Good to hear you have got eggs. you better started sorting out live food  Hope you don't mind me asking but does anyone know how long does it normally take for them to mate after introducing the male. I just got an un expected male staying with me now :happy1: :happy1:
  8. That frustrating, is this a new spawn. One of my males was aplexing with one of the females i got from you the other day, so hopefully soon
  9. wow you guys are really negative about it. Its going to be mean, can't wait. I think is great for our country, it is bring a lot of people from all over the world to come and spend money in our country, it getting our county more known, witch we need because most people think we are part of Australia. Can't wait to hit up the town and meet some different people. :happy1: :happy1: Just wish it was next year, because i would have started working and have some money.
  10. Yer it seems a but to expensive for me and i don't really need some thing the heavy duty, but thank you for the idea, will definitely use it in the future for something
  11. :slfg: yer it solar heating for the pool
  12. Looks pretty good Only thing i can think for is: They like to swim so at least 1/3 water deep another to submerge them selves
  13. Was going to use a polyurethane by Resene that is water based, non toxic and low fume. the one they recommend for babies cots. Im not to shore exactly what epoxy is. it just a heavy duty polyurethane????
  14. yer this is the first one I've done, a bit of a practice one. I used gorilla DIY expanding foam from placemakers but any hard wear store will stock it. and sealed it with a non toxic silicone, them stuck the peat moss to the wet silicone. The frogs sit on it a lot and they have not be affected by it as far as i can see. it is also wet most of the time, from the sprinkler system and it has not grown mold.
  15. Welcome can't wait to see you Vivarium. i hope to do something similar soon to
  16. So I finally got the measurements of the sink, so i could run the pipe and finish lining the walls. and put the front door in And this after noon had a crack at plastering the ceiling, witch when better that expected, it still needs another coat and sand so it will look better soon
  17. +1 and you can have the closed in plywood side to the exposed size and have lots of plants and stuff inside
  18. It would be to hot and pretty shore you have to keep them outside. I would rather keep them in natural sun it cheaper and you can't beat the real thing.
  19. Funny you should say that have just been looking into it lol. but want to get properly set up with live food first. But that wont help to fill the shed lol.
  20. Na not as much as you would think just love building  but have plans to get more Reptiles

  22. Haha i know how you feel just when through that with my mum. Tell them it will be well insulated and will save on the power bill But my mum is good with that shore of thing so didn't really have to convince her, as long as it was out of my pocket.
