Interesting danios.. *cough* ontopic; apart from the tank getting direct sunlight, idk why you would have insane algae o.0 -
If you need a cooler for #1 (ask Stella), go for #2 as I imagine they will be quite expensive (if you're at all worried about cost). You're fixed on one of the two?

Just replace the front sheet of glass on your tank with magnifying glass, instant large clown loaches :lol:

I guess too if they are raised in a community tank they are less likely to be aggressive to tank mates

If you're worried about the water quality, just keep doing water changes and adding seeded filter media from old tank(s). Just make sure you don't take too much media from the old tank(s). And if fish are gasping at the top it usually means the water isn't oxygenated enough, just make sure you have enough water surface agitation, i know some of the pre-made tanks have poor amounts of water agitation with the overhead filters.

Does anyone know the maximum weight the first floor (not ground floor) in a house can hold? Does it variate much in different houses? Any suggestions on ways to find out? I'm sure I don't need to explain why i ask this :lol: Cheers
