Auckland is the hardest to get into from what i've heard. Since every student in auckland applies there they only pick the cream of the crop. Have you thought about Otago or something?

It would be possible with one pump. Would you be running the tanks side by side or on top of each other? You can just use the overflow system

My first real tank wasn't cycled. Boy did I regret that. Lost so many tetras.

That what I tried to say :-? I would rather you didn't bring my personal details into this. Seeing as I'm a 'child', I could fall prey to internet predators as my personal information has now been jeopardized....

I have found it easier to argue with 16 year olds. The arguments end without them saying things like "mwa xoxo". To be honest, I haven't even seen a child react like that.

Sunbird, from my experience I have found that HOB filters were hard to sleep with unless the water level was high to stop the noise of the waterfall created. I would say the 2213 would be good. The clips on that would be very hard for a 7 yo to get into (in my opinion). Just make sure you buy a first hand one, otherwise a second hand one(like mine) mine be too noisy to sleep with
