lol thanks p44 melrick, i have a huuuuuggggeee female too but i think she might be the mum to the eggs atm,and the daddy is tiny in comparison lol,whats the difference in looks to albinos and gba? albinos would have red eyes but are they lighter in skin colour? my kribs have started cleaning out their pot again so more babies from them soon and im going to breed one of my fighter pairs today :bounce: :bounce: so exiting :)

yea i think i will,i though they grew slower than that ive got my eye on a tank atm and have allready got a big base for it so hopefully in the near future...fingers crossed

ive seen some oscars on tm and ive been wanting one for ages,i know they grow huge and i will be getting a nice big tank but as im looking at getting a new job and moving i am holdng off for a few more months. these guys are 5-8cm,would a 120l tank b ok for it short term and would he be able to share with gba and kribensis?

oh cool so you managed to find a male then? my bns are going nuts now,there must be over 20 babies in the tank allready and then the male is sitting ion more eggs!!! then now have the gba male on eggs to so ive set up a tank for them lol

im so happy i got a lovely suprise last night when i wen into check my tanks and one of my gba was sitting on eggs :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: he was having a bit of a tough time because one of the pleco was rolling his cave around so i pulled it out and chucked him in his own little tank so he can hatch his babys in peace

ghosts are the nicest communal fish,they dont fight,they dont stress other fish,they just pic a nice peacefull spot in the tank and stay there,they tend to hover in a spot thats got ok water flow,i had three that where in my communal tank for a year then i gave them away because i wanted more space but i wish i hadnt now

thanks adodge,yea i knew it was a while i thought it was roughly a month tho,ill google it,to be on the safe side i have seperated all the ones i got form the same person and chucked them in a tank of their own,theres about seven of them so will see what comes out what shall i do with the fry out of the deformed lot? they all look healthy and i hate to euthanise fish so shall i leave them ?

one of the other females that i got the same time as her has had fry tonight and she also had alot of deformed fry too,i will seperate those two into a small tank with one of my makles and see what the next lot of fry are like

i havent read this whole thing so sorry if im doubling up on anyone elses ideas,have you though of getting a night job? you could work a coupke of hours a night and they pay GOOD money,i do a seasonal nightshift and while it can suck with the hours it helps the bank account,also a work from home bussiness is an option,just go for a well known company. also on the saving money front,eating out sucks up money,even getting a pie or sammy here and there if you go back through a week and see what you have spent its amazing!!!! try taking pack lunches with you or having snacks in the car. is there any orchards around where you are? they have weekend work available usually and it works on how much you work i what you earn.

2 days,its a double that was opened up so she could have the whole thing with a plant in for shelter,i dont leave them in if they get stressed and she wasnt overly,a bit of swimming in circles but then she relaxed. its odd because ive never had this before and i always put the guppys in the trap at the last minute,the fry where reeeaaalllyyy deformed tho like fused together and bent in wierd angles :roll: i might give her one more chance and if it happens when she breeds with my males (she was pregnant when she arrived) i wont breed her again

one of my guppys had 30+ fry in a guppy trap thisavo and 7 where deformed and 4 where stillborn,she is only younge and is one of my new girls,im wondering if it was just a bad lot or if i should get rid of her because of bad genes? also should i keep the remaining fry? i dont want them to grow up and breed if they are the carrier of a mutant gene lol

you could always do what we did,we had noisy neighbors that kept waking up my baby,it went on for a month until my partner had enough so one night after one of their big partys and they where all sleeping we parked his car (5am) as close to the fence as possible ....bout 5 metres from their house and BLASTED the sub...gave em a taste of their own medicine :lol: it hasnt happened since
