I converted my fluidised sand bed filter into a sulphar bead denitrator then plan to pass this into an aqua medic chamber full off CaCo3 to buffer the water and add ca. I would stongly recomend sulphar bead over aquamedic system, i have used one of these, it worked quite well, but the denimar (food) will be very hard if not impossible to get in NZ HTH Ben

Peter FYI, what you have said couldn't be further from the truth. We are currently looking for new sites for more stores this year. Specialty lines have been removed from other store's and bought to MT Eden as we are the only store selling marine livestock. We are simply clearing out excess stock and passing great deals onto customers. Just ordered two of theese for my 4 footer http://www.riopump.net/products_pumps/Seio.html , they are a stream copy at a fraction of the price. Got the fist fish in yesterday, a Midas blenny, now i just need two more of them . Will get the hallide on tomorrow and hope to get my sulphar bead de-nitrator running soon. The rotating spray bar is working very well hope to have some pics up soon. get my anemone, 2 colonies of ricordia, colt coral and other frags tomorrow. SWEEEEET

so you will need a seperate tank, lots of air input and recomend an optional air driven skimmer. NO poweheads what so ever. Very dissapointedmum and dad ate all the eggs this a.m. Still fingers crossed tell get into it againm my bad coz i slacked off from cleaning all my tanks alot the past month Melons are doing very well tho ill keep you posted.

Stoked this morning my Fuji melon discus have free swimming bubs, feeding off mum and dad. And the tank next door with my Red spot teffe royal red pair had laid after only being reunited for 24hrs.

When i was out there, i couldnt believe the amount of fish, the surge chamber works wicked, excellent wave simmulation and the green frogspawn photo does not do it justice that is one piece id have in my tank. The Helio sems to be thriving aswell :evil: It will need time to be better and not sure if i like the rocks out of the tank, maybe if they beaded it lower ? Alois michael should atleats put the T5's lower ? Arent they a bit useless at that level
