  1. I had skunk loaches and I hated them! They Were really nippy fish and attacked my pepperd cores in the night I had to sell them. I don't recomend them one bit
  2. I find that if the tadpoles water is cold they will take a long time to change. If the water is room temperature you won't need a heater tadpoles in general dont need heaters unless water is really cold
  3. I can't stop my blueys from going into burmation. My bluey woke up yesterday and today though
  4. You ring up doc and ask about getting a permit for keeping native reptiles I found that doc dosnt mind if you have the lizards inside as long as you have a mesh lid and 2 other sides mesh and have a UVB light source. The. Once in contact with doc they will inspect the cages to see if they meet the requirements
  5. Had one of thoes flie potholes from animates and put some meat in it while I was waiting for the flies to hatch and when they did I left them In there for a while and they must have laid eggs in it cause a moth later I had tones for flie coming out the pottle had no flies left when all these new ones came

  7. Alot of het would be lost and it might be hard to keep a constant temprature and I think it's nylon mesh so if you had a cat,dog or somthing like that might be able to Get into it
  8. I don't think natives would be necessary I know some can still be active and eating at 4 degrees apparently. I know the native skinks though burmate I think But not many people have natives here and the herpetological society has on their care sheet info on burmation I think
  9. It's not to bad it's just basically ground up limestone but if eaten to much the animal can get sick from to much calcium and the grains are quite jagged but in America you can get calci sand that is rounded
  10. That dolphin looks like it wants to kill them
  11. It will stick tp them it would get annoying but I don't think it would cause to much harm. It might start irritating their skink though. If it's the reptile one stuff it will be alright as long as its not the calcium sand as that stuff is really jagged!
  12. If it's the exo terra stuff they should be allright the sand particles are smooth in that sand.
  13. I'm wasn't thinking about tank size. Or a Senegal!
  14. An arowana just looks like a big fish to me IMO but a birchir or an eel their somthing. Get an ornate birchir! Or catch a nz native eel
  15. Yeah in manual you can get just as close the only difference between all the other modes is that you set the shutter speed etc in the scenario instead of it being automatic. I think you can turn the flash off but im not to sure :dunno: The macro lenses are great canon came off the best in digital photo magazine review and sigma was the best 3rd party lens. Yeah better pay off the camera before getting a new lens
  16. Yeah I do but this is more for photography not video but I will be using it's video though And yes m means manual lol it's hard to get the iso and shutter speed and aperture right I want to use macro but I get sick of the flash popping up! I found the manual was really good. Yeah the auto focus is quite slow manuals the best and I find live view really good zooming in and seeing if it's well in focus is really handy and in the ca mode on the dial (creative auto) on the display it let's you pick how blured you want the back round and how bright the picture is.
  17. Great photos matt! Are you using manual mode I got my 550d about a week ago it's a really good camera!
