  15. Actually LB it is very smart as african tanks should always be crowded as evens out the agression and spreads it around thats why that photo above has so many and thats why if you do go to malawi or other rift valley lakes there are millions of fish everywhere

  17. well my male has done it again and the female has laid twice the amount since last time and this time i will not be stupid and take the as they are hatching sorry about that guys.Any way the babies from last spawn (2) are about 2cm and growing really fast so hopefully ill get a female out of these as i i think my third adult may be a male but he/she is hard to tell from as fights with my male but looks like a female but my spawning female did fight a little this afternoon to get to spawn with my male cheers Kyle
  18. well only five babies made it sadly and i know why so many died as i was to keen when i saw that some babies had hatched i decided to take all the eggs and the babies out in a seperate tank but i think the babies need the male to kep the eggs cleand and actually hatch them out of his mouth but the 5 are doing really well so hopefully they will raise up.But dont worry guys i am petty sure the female is going to spawn soon as she is so fat and i think she only deposited half the eggs and still has alot left over as she is so fat and the male is fanning for her will keep post on the five and how they go and when the pair spawn again and i also have another female so might gve her a go aswell as she is really fat
  19. Alan i went the other day and saw these killies i think Australes were $70 for 1 male and two females and those Arnetti were cheaper cant remeber price but they arnt anything to look at and i think there were only two there but i never saw the guntheri
  20. Yay the babies hatched today ill put some pics up tonight
  21. hey jammos only two of what you have listed you can breed and they are gold nuggets and buterflys thats if by you saying L030 as peppermint but if its peppermint ancistrus then there not to difficult to breed. For breeding gold nuggets will be quite difficult as they reach a big size over 16cm and thats huge and are quite difficult to sex.butterflys arnt very easy to breed either mine spawned after being well conditioned and having a 3foot by themselves with nothing threatning them my ph was 6.8 and temp around 28c they need a fast curent going around the tank and water to be clean hope this helps
  22. guppy females usually have black eyes while gambusia will have more silvery eyes and a different shape to a guppy
